Each design in the collection is struck from 2 full Troy oz. of .999 fine silver in dramatic high relief with an exceptional antiqued finish, measuring 40.50 mm in diameter with a weight of 62.27 grams. Collection is issued by the Cook Islands, with the remarkably low mintage of just 1,000 sets.
 
Coins of the series share a common obverse, depicting the diademed portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sculpted by Raphael Maklouf, bordered by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "COOK ISLANDS," "2 OZ 999 SILVER," "TWO DOLLARS" and the date.
